as for making this the fan club of only the first season, i don't think that's necissary, even if it IS the best season.

all digimon seasons have the clasic good vs. evil and the importance of building relationships in the show, so i think it'd be best to keep them all together.
and some people preffer the different story lines of each season...

Izzy needed a girl friend. :p
but at least he was more sociable than joey, who was the brain and spent WAY to much time figuring things out.

izzy was mature though, and always seemed to put his friends, and tentomon first, which made him very endearing.

all in all, not my favourite character, but very spunky and funny, while being reasponsable at the same time.

I like tentomon cause he is diferent from izzy he isnt that smart and he isnt interested in thinks that izzy is!

but yeah, tai is a classic chracter, the leader who struggles to discover his own strength, and is truelly great because he leads with others, not being totally dominant, but listening to his friends instead ^_^

mine our agumon, and guilmon. dinosaur types are really cool in my opinion. greymon is my favorite digivolution. i always wished i had a real digivise! that would be so cool to go to another world and battle other monsters, eventually evolving to the next level! and also fighting to save the world like its your destiny sounds pretty fun to me.

thats what ive been telling my friend who is a pokemon fan for months now, im glad someone agrees with me! digimon beats pokemon. kids didnt like pokemon as much as digimon because there was an actual plot and you actually had to think. with pokemon all you do is collect more and more monsters and throw little red balls. whats the fun in that? and the worst part about pokemon is that it goes nowhere. powerangers has a better story than pokemon!

digimon definitely better, and not just because the animation is more detailed and the the digimon look cooler than pokemon, but becuase the story line is WAAAAAAY better, and more perilous!
the digimon crew basically saved the world, while the pokemon characters were usually (not in all cases, like the movies, some times) just furthing thier own pokemon collection and winning competitions, which is all very selfish, in my opinion.

digimon "tamers" are friendly, and selfless, not to mention inteligent.
pokemon characters are very 2 dimentional.

my reason is because she is one of the deepest character in the first season (besides the angsty and misunderstood matt :P (yamato))
her sad past as a lieutenant in Myotismon's army, even though he beat her (because he didn't like her eyes >.>) makes me think of how hard her life had been

her love for wizardmon was very touching, i jsut really identified with her passion and what not. she rose above her troubled life and joined the digidestined. she is very strong willed and trusting.

in the end, she sort of is like the kind of giving, selfless person i'd like to be :p

anyways, so you know what else was good about digimon, it seamed more realistic because the characters did not always win, AND when they lost they didn't learn their lesson right away, they had to work through it.

yeah, i wish a new season would come out already. and i wish it would be like digimon tamers that show was great. takato created his own digimon from scratch! all the digimon in that season looked cool. the digivises were awesome as well. sliding the card through the digivise and all. if i got to choose one i would go with those digivises. heres a topic: what would your digivise look like and what would it do?

personally my digivice would be like the ones in the first season, because those ones reacted to the connection the digimon and the taimers had. i liked that, probably because i'm a girl.

but the digivices did look cooler in season three, so i'd like them to look like those ones

yeah, not only that,but in season three the digivise looked like it would fit in you hand comfortably, whereas the season one digi v looked it would cramp your hand because it was small and square. also i like the idea of drawing what digimon you want and sliding it through your digivise and, poof! there he is! maybe thats because im a boy. or we just have different tastes.

Lets see where were we.....oh okey so Digi vs Poke.....I meen Digimon can talk Pokemon cant, Digimons are bigger and by the way stronger with it! I would like to see some legendary Pokemon vs. Ultimate Evolution Digimon! For my digivice I like the most from 2nd season and hate from 5th season! So it would look like some combo of original and D-3!

Also, a legendary pokemon would have a hard enough time fighting greymon agumons first digivolution, so ultimate evolution would walk all over any pokemon. digimon would also outsmart pokemon since their on average as smart as a human.

i liked it when the seson one kids helped the season two kids, it seemed to work pretty well, so perhaps they should try that again by getting the season 3 kids to help the season 6 kids?

but you're also right about possible ruining it, they'd have to be really careful. i think a colaboration of the authors fromt eh first 3 season would be able to whip up a pretty good story.

i liked digimon season three and i was done by a different author than the one who did season 1 and 2 so i doesnt mean that the show will suck. you cant keep doing the same thing over and over again and expect everyone to continue to watch. change isnt always a bad thing sometimes its suprisingly fun and exciting.
