Lmao, Kenpachi is having the time of his live, he's losing waaay too much blood though. It seems like Yamamato actually trained with him before, haha how cool. The fifth espada's death is coming, I can almost feel a comeback of Kenpachi's.

It does make sense however, as simple as it is, if Kenpachi who overpowers his opponents with one hand is strong, two hands would make the swing of the blade twice as strong. I always mentioned how Kenpachi always uses one hand to fight his opponents to my friends as a way to boost his awesomeness, never new it would some day actually end up makin him stronger to use two hands.

This chapter really made me rethink Kenpatchi's character. Yeah, he was made out to be a crazy guy who focuses entirely on personal power since he first appeared. We might have thought, "Wow, he's got enough crazy energy that he killed the previous captain and everyone accepts him as Captain level."

But the more I think about it, his energy is a lot higher and he's a lot stronger than we give him credit for. He never uses any kind of finesse or real focused strikes whenever he fights. He just stabs and slashes. He just brute forces his way everywhere.

So the difference between a wild street brawl style shot, he's focusing his entire body into one hit. His power is so wild that if it were to ever focus into a single, aimed, strike, it'd pretty much fuck everyone up. All of the other captains have very clear and calculated fighting styles where they direct hits and they are more or less on par with a guy who does nothing but blow power around. S'interesting.

...Or I'm a bit pissed on Bass. Whatever.

for a minute there I seriously thought he was going release his shikai. When he said "haven't used this in a while" I'd figure the reason he didn't use it was because it was fruity or something. guess not, he only needs two hands to be even more badass.

like lee .i think rock lee and ken have much familiar with eachother .He use brutal power to tak enemy down and are simply great at that and...... they both can take muuuch pain and endure much more then others

Aww I was ready for Shikai ... and yet somehow it isn't weird at at to see how much stronger his strike is with both hands. I do wanna see what Kenpachi being slightly more focused can do. Especially since he's just enjoying himself and not really fighting back all that hard. But seriously, I wanted shikai lol jk jk.

Not a bad chapter overall I guess lots of action which is good since we saw like forty chapters of Saeyzel and his ranting and annoyance (total exaggeration I know). Thank goodness for Kenpachi! Go ken!

I just read the chapter.
Seriously, I was sure he was going to pull out a Shikai which would enlarge his sword to an unimaginable size. Then, he would hold it with both hands.
Instead, he took this sword in both hands, lol.
I haven't enjoyed a chapter of Bleach for a few months, but this was refreshing.

I am sure the chapter is great, but I need to see it animated to see just how GREAT it is, hard to follow what exactly all was going on. He might slice all of Huece Mundo in half if he is not careful, after reading this chapter the scene where Gin and Kenpanchi are taunting Byakuya came to mind. Ken could actually mop the floor with Byakuya if they fought, Byakuya doesn't come close to his stamina.

I enjoyed the chapter, but what interests me more then Kenpachi is what will happen to Ichigo. As far as we have seen Ichigo has been the strongest or we are lead to assume that. ( yes i realize there are people we haven't seen fight that are most likely stronger) So if Kenpachi is now strong enough to take out this guy Ichigo needs to level up one more if he plans on taking on Aizen. The problem is I don't know what is left for Ichigo to do. That's what I am waiting for.

Ichigo has to go back and master Bankai lol. He still has to learn some techniques from that, as well as how to really control his mask and be able to use techniques like Cero.

He kinda went there once, but that was unconsciously. It happened when he was training with the Vizard inside the protective barrier. He had a very complete hollow form and he fired a cero blast.

So there are surely levels above his current level.

Yeah I was thinking that maybe Ichigo's power up was either a) canon at this point, b) a rare deal as far as him and Zangetsu goes, or c) just the equvilant of a Bankai type power up. I like that everyone that Ichigo fought is now suddenly strong enough to take on these arrancar even though Mayuri basically lost to Ishida, Kenpachi lost to a technically still shikai released Ichigo. Byakuya doesn't really count in this equation because he fought one helluvapussy for an Espada. But Mayuri had advanced information and random abilities given to Nemu and his bankai we were unaware of, ones that specifically are good in the last fight against Sayzel, I think that's silly. I guess that Kenpachi is still kind of explainable since we don't know his full potiential or if he's ever really focused on defeating his opponent versus just fighting them.

And yes, seriously, where is Ulquiorra? Please come back to us. lol.
