It seems to me that Aizen was evil from the begining, he slipped through the ranks with his goal and used Soul Society to learn all he can for his ambition. He's had over 100 years of preparation and now look at him. One of, if not the strongest captain level shinigami there is, man Shinji looks like an Egyptian phaoroh with his long hair, now that I look at it, his entire design is that of a classic Phaoroh.

Me as well, I think we're going to learn where the masks came to be, and how/why Urahara left Soul Society.

Lol speaking of urahara classic comedian entrance and already people doubt him yet he is stronger then everyone in that room in my opinion except aizen currently.

I'm enjoying this flashbacks a lot. I want to know the 11th squad captain, before being killed by Kenpachi. Also I want to know more about these two captains that are gone now, Aigawa love and the Guy with the Elvis look. Also Ukitake Juushirou looked so young and healthy.

What is the Royal Guard? I never heard of them.

Also it seems to me that the Vizards and Aizen are after somewhat of the same thing.

Edit:I think that guy from the Vizards, Kensei Muguruma is the guy that they didn't tell his squad, so that means 7 people left SS and 6 of them are Vizards.

I will admit I was PISSED when I first started going through the chapter, a FLASHBACK at this kind of junction in Bleach. Once I started reading through and saw who some of the former captains were I was very well pleased with the choice in flashback. Hmmm Love and Shinji were both captains huh, I wonder how they transformed as well as how they let such a strong individual possibly surpass them in power. Last WHERE DID AIZEN GET SUCH STRENGTH WITHOUT ANYONE KNOWING?

this chapter pwned naruto again and i love what im reading right now... so def it will be aizen versus uruhara.. aizen samas eyes was so full of jealousy when he saw uruhara... and unohana..wow never thought that she was very old and probly she have mad skills in combat... and i think we will see her fight one of the female counterparts of either the vizard or the vastalordes...and i also may conclude that the gotei 13 will have to convice the vizards to help them or they will fight them as well and as to quote someone up... there are similarities on what shinji and aizen is aiming for...somehow related that is why they moved out of SS.. and wow royal guards are pretty strong if captains can be promoted to this position

The chapter was kinda cool for seeing some old faces again. but i just dont get how the vizards came from captains to a rogue group in the streets now. plus they didnt seem that strong. For shinji, a former CAPTAIN, he sure did have some trouble when he tried to help ichigo out against grimmjow. so unless hes holding in some power or he needs that limit release that all liteunants and higher need in the real world, he doesnt seem so strong.

IT was kinda funny to see that Aizen used to be Shinji's BIT#H as the lit. to his cap.

Now aizen bit#hes everyone else now.

it was cool to see kisuke as a rookie captain among all of them. i wonder whats going on with him.

and the 0 division?! WTF

Wow. I'm actually really glad for a break from all the fighting. There's been so much background information that has gone over the "mysterious past" stuff and I'm happy that we can finally find out more. I think the most interesting revelation was that the Vaizards were such high profile people in Soul Society. So what happened to them?

Before this chapter I believed that they all had somehow found their powers by accident at some point and SS decided not to take them as shinigami. But now? I'm assuming that they became vizards through some accident with Urahara now... Who wants to bet that Aizen was involved with how all the vizards got their skills? (Ooh! I hope that the big pink vizard was the 4th devision captain's LT!)

The Zero Division, the Royal Guard, is probably an elite group of the strongest fighters who guard the King (therefore the King's Key).

I didn't really like these flashbacks, we learned very little for 18 pages, and to interrupt the main course of the story just so Kubo could add some stuff he was lazy to show before (like how Vaizards and Aizen know each other or the like) really pissed me off.

Also, this only proves that villains in Bleach are far outnumbered and that they can't do shit.
How is Aizen with a few Espada supposed to kill all those Captains + Urahara and Yoruichi + Vaizards + Ichigo and co?
Now, even if he DOES kill them all (which is, of course, more than impossible) how is he supposed to defeat all the guys from the Royal Guard?
Bad writing, bad writing...no real sense of danger = shit.

That is really a good guess about Aizen and/or Urahara being involved with the mystery how they got their hollow powers.

And yeah, definitely, a break from the fighting is good. But I don't like that we got Aizen's entrance and a major battle setup last chapter, only to get back to the flashbacks now. Should have gotten the flashbacks sooner, IMO.

Aizen has more man power than you give him credit for. Aizen has struck fear into a society which is the reason for the existence of shinigamis, the hollows. Hollows go from different species and they are all in under the command of aizen. Aizen has the espada who the top 4 are arguably stronger than more than half of the captains of soul society. Aizen also possesses the possibily of holding some type of alliance with the vastro lorde, whom even though are not arrancar, are hollows which are most humanized and are stronger than your average captain. That plus aizen has his own abilites which could possibly rival those of yama ji, how do I know this? Aizen was able to bring grimmjow to his knees with just a slight brush of spirt energy, grimmjow is no joke, he is obviously above a average captain level. Not to mention tousen and gin.


Aizen is far from being under man power.

i still feel the reason that they had to leave was cuz of there new power was to close to bein that of hollows

he didnt have any problem with him, if he was tryin to kill him he would have done it with no problem.

and its safe to say that theres some form of a king in S.S so i was already thinkin about who guard him/the area

I thought Vasto Lorde ARE the Arrancar we now know as Espada, but it seems that is not true. At least as to you and others say.
Also, I thought Aizen would be stronger than old Yamamoto, since being below him would make no sense to the story at all. Imagine the battle now. All the captains die, and their lieutenants die in battle against Aizen and his Espada, but Aizen and co are pulled to death with them.
So, by that logic, Aizen + Halibel + Start + Barragan are as strong as all those captains without 4 captains in HM. That should say Aizen is powerful, right?

Well, check this now - even if they all die, there is Urahara, Yoruichi, all Vaizards, and Ichigo, Ishida, Chad and Inoue.
So, are you still saying they are equal? D:

The chapter was great and shocking. I can't believe that Aizen and Urahara seem like wet-behind-ears rookie shinigamis compared to everyone else shown and mentioned in the chapter. The top three Espada have to be of vasto lorde class if Aizen is having them assist him with the battle against Gotei 13. Imo, Unohana, Ukitake, Shunsui, Kenpachi, Shinji, Love, Rose, Kenpachi, Urahara, Yamamoto just receive a another power boost due to the fact that they were Aizen's superiors. I believe that Aizen's strong as he is because he trained constantly while the other captains were probably doing too much relaxing while in their positions. That's the only explanation that I have for Aizen's strength. Now, I'm thinking that either Isshin was a captain that came later on or he was already a part of squad zero. I'm believe that they'll add him a flashback sooner or later.

Oh man I am loving the flashback story line. its cool seeing the vizards as shinigami captains. I wonder why the current captains never mentioned them.

Interestin' to Aizen is pure evil from the every start.. Im very interested to find out how the Vizards obtained Hollow abillities.. Could any of the other captains have hollow powers, nah probably not..

Wow, what information, the battle just got thicker the Vizard are animals, and probably not suspected by Aizen, they just set up the horizon, but some will fall on the side of good, just too many heros around now. All they need now is the Vamire guy with his Doll that survived, and the ex Shingami that Kenpachi tossed with the rainbow blade to show up but we could pass on him.

so urahara is the new 12th division captain and his vice-captain was hiyori...
so these means that mayuri was probably 3rd highest rank in 12th division... hahaha...

aizen looks evil before he was a captain... i think he's just pretending to be a good guy to gather some information w/ the captains...

shinji's look is pretty weird w/ his long hair... the heartrob 5th division captain has arrived... lol...

the vaizards looks more powerful now that we know that some of them are former captains...

the chapter was very good, am glad we finally got to see urahara when he was younger. I wonder if we'll get more info on him, and maybe Ichigo's dad... i wonder what division was he Capitan of?

the 11th Division is where the title "Kenpachi" belongs too... Kenpachi is given to the strongest generation of shinigami... Zaraki was the 10th generation i think...

the blind guy is toussin and i wonder where they were as well, but it was cool to see that the vizards play a way bigger role then we thought they did. I would like to see shinji's bankai and his initial release. i can't wait to see the vizards fight the arrancar too.
