Member Awards - A member of NL you choose to win who is the best on here. Well not really the best but who you think you like the most, and should win on NL.

Best Signature Contest - Nothing new really, but it will be official.

Fanclub Contest - Im not sure, im out of it already, so i was wondering if they still alive we might be able to do it. What Fanclub you think is the most interactive, cooperative etc.

Its just suggestions since the forums look kinda boring.

Yeah, we could add that to the fanclub contest. but its very related also too the sig contest except wallpapers and others. Thanks.

How about a sig tournoment where its not just one on one but it starts of with 8 contestants then you randomly put them against one and other then those eight get reduced to 4 then you do the same as before and put them randomly against one and other, then it will be reduced then those 2 battle and the winner is well.... the champion.

and you could do this every 2 weeks so the champion holds the title for 2 weeks then next week the winner of the next torunment battles the winner of the last tournument.

Oooh, nice ideas. And for the member awards there could be stuff like Nicest, Most Helpful, Best Debater, and maybe some sort of banner or something related to the arcade high scores, as well.

As for the graphics parts anyone can organize that, you don't need a mod to do it...also there ARE battles between groups. Check the graphics teams sub forum. I like the first idea.

I think contests are a good idea. It could encourage people to be fun, interesting, and nice. It might also make more people come online. But mostly it will encourage kindness. Yay kindness! Maybe I could enter a fanfic contest and write my first fanfic ever...

I would be interested in a fanfic contest. However, it is sort of hard to find people who will actually participate in those. I know, I used to run one on this other forum...(until it got a lot of bugs, now I'm not there any more...can't risk getting infected with something because some jack**s hacker decided he hated someone there...but that is beside the point). Only one person was in it and won by default. Not only that, his story was crap, but again, that is beside the point.

If there are others out there who would be interested, and I do mean INTERESTED and actually would participate in a fanfic contest, I would like to participate as well.

It seems that people would be interested in the contests, but no one really goes to the Q&S forum, so you should put this thread in general discussion or announcements. The ideas seem pretty good, but make the awards varied and many so that the lower members can actually win some. Sounds like a fun idea.

At the GS forums we had member awards. They were held every 6 months. Members nominated members for 20 catagories, the the top 3 or 4 they voted on.

There is more, if anyone wants to start it I can tell you all the info.

make it atleast every 2 months I'd say, so that the awards atleast retain some kind of meaning. Preferably every 3 or 4 months IMO.

I was "The_Under_Grad".... In the end I lost to mistikdrifter by 5 for the "Most dramatic topics" category. and I lost by 30 in the "most intresting" category.

One more thing. The prize was a special custom sig with you name on it and what category you won.

Thats a lot...well...doesnt matter...not my thing to keep track of...feel sorry for the person who does! XD

I think constests would be cool. The winner could get...say a custom title saying something similar to the award.

As far as awrads go. I think that the member that is the winner for a certain contest should be able to have their title as a custom title (ex. Mine is Teakage). Most peoples are just ranks. This will provide an incentive to people to become competative and great.

We should hold contests every few weeks. IF the winner of that contest loses the next contest, he will lose the custom title until beating them once again.

With the way the awards work you could only do it onceevery 3 months and even then.... Once a year made things intresting kinda like the chunin exams.

If we are going to do this I would want to help with well.... Anything.

Oooh... That's an interesting catch, Fresh... that way, you could ensure that the winner of the contest will continue acting the way he did. This will make people happy, as the winner obviously made them happy prior to the award. It's a way to keep the happy flowing for as long as possible! I swear that I am not on drugs.
