Ok children. It's time to talk about the trippiest game ever: The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Now, I know it may not be as strange as games like Katamari Damacy, but c'mon. Where else are you going to find 35 year old mapmakers who think that they're fairies? So let's talk about it! What is the craziest part of the game? The best character? The part that had you asking yourself: "Am I on drugs" (doesn't count if you really were on drugs at the time).

the craziest part in the game is when u go in to that one place with the big tree and the majora mask is under the tree...it seemed crazy cause first we were like freaking worrying if the moons gonna fall now we see a freaken peaceful thing...it's like we were high! the best character is link in his fierce diety mask

I remember that! That was INSANE!!! The kids live on the moon and have an obsession with masks... props to the writers for that one! Fierce Deity Link was the coolest character... the best was the one part of the game that was truly high: The zora bass player! I swear, he was SOO stoned.

LOL yeah and that guy who opens his shops only at 10:00 he was high as hell u could tell by the way he says "hiiiiiiiiiiiii"

And how he always scratched his butt! And do you remember the hand in the toilet? Craziest thing EVER.

dude the toilet thing scared the crap outta me i was playing alone at like 2 a.m. and i put my n64 controller down and my analog stick thing got stuck (yes it sucks >.<) n it made link walk into the bathroom and POP the hand came out...i almost pissed in my pants

Yeah! That hand in the toilet scared the crud out of me! But afterwards, it was really funny. ^_^

The other scary thing was the happy mask salesman. When he finds out you didn't get back his mask in the beginning, he starts shaking you and has those freaky pointy eyes! That was scary!

Remeber that stupid theif that steals your sword? I hate that guy!

But it still cannot compare to the trippiness of Katamari Damacy. I mean... listen to this and I quote,

"Let's take the yummy-yummy rainbow back!" *vomits rainbows to transport you*

And then there's...

"Oh, I feel it... I feel the Cosmos...*spins into space* Taurus came charging back.... *spins again* MoooooOOooo...."

It's a different kind of trippy. Dark trippy. Almost like a nightmare. Majora's Mask was scary... especially the castle by the last dungeon. Katamari Damacy is its own thing. You can't beat it in weirdness and randomness. In Zelda, everything is so serious... the hand in the toilet serves a purpose. Tingle serves a purpose. You even get to shoot cow-abducting aliens! You don't get much better than that.

Grr... this isn't the debates section... My question about the favorite masks stands firm. And comparing Zelda and Katamari Damacy is like comparing Apples and Fluoride. Two COMPLETELY different things. So let's talk about Zelda! YAY ZELDA!

Hhhmmmm, the mask question is hard to answer. The bunny hood was great because you could run faster, but it's not the coolest one. I really like the Goron mask because you get to roll and that's fun. But the Zora mask is probally my favorite. The Zoras look the best, have a cool guitar, can fight in the water, and have a cool blue magic barrier. And when your a Zora, the story gets really good. ^_^

The bunny hood was my favorite mask for practicality. That and the stone mask. The stone mask was the most useful non-necessary mask in the game. The zora mask was my favorite creature mask. Being able to move efficiently underwater and attack better than Link in the iron boots from OOT was the BEST! Then there was the crying mask. That was really weird...

I agree with what you said. And being able to fight well underwater is cool. In OOT, all you could do is walk slowly and use hookshot. They made it a lot better in MM.

Wasn't the Keaton mask weird? In OOT, it had no real benefits, but it did weird things in MM... I didn't realize that a Keaton was actually a real animal. I thought it was the Zelda equivalent of a cartoon character.

Yeah, me too. But it had a reason in OOT. If you trade the masks, you get the mask of truth.

But the Keaton animal was pretty cool. ^_^

I mean that it didn't do anything other than sell in OOT. Sorry for the bad choice of words. What did you think of the houses of Skulltula in this game? The second one was cool. Just like a haunted house! Those little fuzzy enemies were really cute!

Wait, you mean those ball looking bad guys that moved on the floor? I hate those guys! They freaked me out! Espacially in the first dungeon where it's really dark and all of a sudden, small black balls with bright orange eyes come after you! I hate those things!

The Skulltulas were cool in this game. You could actually talk to them in this one. In OOT, all they did was chase you aroung Hyrule field when it was dark. I espacially liked the king one. He obeys Link! ^_^

No, no. The skulltulas are the spiders. The golden ones lived in houses in this game, and for killing them all, you got the mask of truth and the giant's wallet. You're talking about the stal children. Those fuzzy enemies were creepy at times... but they were so cute in the second dungeon! Little white balls of fluff!
