Now that Neji, Lee and Tenten is free from the water prison..we will hopefully get to see how much they improved over the 2.5 yrs..I think Guys team will attack together again..but hopefully they will attack with a plan unlike last time..Everyone will be defeated when Kisame flashs his special ability..with Guy still standing but forcing him to open up more gates..(Guy soooo resembles Bruce Lee)..:p

I believe Gai has some relationship, not homosexual like family, with Kisame. That is what he realized. Unless he realized he ain't dead which is possible. This next chapter will hopefully clear up some stuff for us all.

Why read a book and then watch the movie based on it? People get certain responses from written word (and in manga/comic book cases, still pictures) and different responses from visuals. Most will do both to get the full range of all emotional and thought provoking responses.

i highly doubt kisame was defeated. he most likely used replacement technique, since gai was like wtf is that at the end of the chapter

I guess your right although you could be wrong, we have never seen a Akatsuki member ever defeated they usually leave at the right time. Then again we have never seen Gai fight anyone this hard, that he had to release a gate.

Losing to Naruto isn't so bad, he is a very good ninja, that has a few moments you question him. I would love to see him fight against Oro right now and see how he does. I know it won't be a quick fight like last time where Oro seals the 9 tails away from Naruto.

That is always a possibilty, but I think it takes a lot longer for him to gather up his chakra from his fight, because he already has the sand armor around him using up chakra.

Does anyone know if the chapter (259) is even coming out this week, because i thought I read somewhere that it was going on a hiatus for 2 weeks and this would be the second week. i think that gai realized that kisame used some type of highly advanced jutsu. because kisame did say that he needed some of itachis chakra do to "the jutsu". also i think that itachi is a gangster and he is about to rape naruto. i mean look at him he has 3 kage bushins laying around wiped out all of narutos team before naruto even had time to realize that one of his best friends just got shanked and naruto is not a good person at remembering so i think that he is about to get hit with the mangekyo sharaingan. those are my predictions

What do you mean Naruto isn't good at remembering, he has remembered everything that has happened to him, when it is a bad thing that is. I don't think the mangekyo will work on Naruto, because all the bad things that have happened to him he uses as fuel to get stronger, he has overcome and learned from everything bad that has happened to him. Although if he has Naruto go through the pain that Kakashi went through, that might hurt him but I think the 9 tails will help him out of that one, plus Itachi doesn't like to use the same jutsu twice from what we have seen. True he did do the mangekyo twice he used it two different ways, he made Kakashi go through some kind of alternate world where he stabbed him over and over, he made Sasuke see his family wiped out in front of him over and over again.

two main things. kisame is likely beaten or hurt quite badly. after he landed; he stayed down long enough so that gai's entire team could surround him. not a smart move if he was conscious. we know he's there though; we saw his legs.

as for naruto, his fight with itachi is just starting. itachi is no where near strong enough to defeat kakashi, sakura, and the hag in the amount of time it takes naruto to blink. and those aren't kage bunshins, naruto's team got up and turned into itachi copies. i think its clear that naruto is in a genjutsu; which he will likely break out of to begin a long drawn out battle

I'm not just going after ucmehoe, I've seen this type of stuff on other threads. It just seems sad that we write this way, no matter if its about a fictional character or a real person.

As for my prediction, I think we're going to see how Naruto can possibly beat the Sharingan, or at least not be affected by its genjutsu abilities. I mean, we've seen Itachi use his eye to go after Kakashi's and Sasuke's mind, but we haven't seen anyone really make a defense against it. I mean, Gai learned to fight Kakashi by looking at his feet, but maybe with Jiraya's help Naruto learned a way to fight the Sharingan or at least know a major weakness, since Jiraya would have known Uchiha clan members since they were still alive when he was still in the village. Maybe he took what the granny said and hid a clone to attack Itachi if he saw the real Naruto caught in a genjutsu. Naruto could have learned that earth technique that allows the person to travel under the earth (Kakashi, Oro, the 3 illusion guys from the Chunnin exam and those horrible filler episodes have all used that one). That would be kind of cool, and would go along with Naruto's pattern of always having really weird plans laid out that suprise the enemy. So, even if the real Naruto is caught in that weird technique (can't remember the name and too lazy to look at another post) the clone could get him out of it before any real damage occurs, since Itachi would have to be focusing on Naruto to do so. Probably not going to happen, but a cool thought. Would at least let us see 1 new technique Naruto could have learned.

This is getting long, I know, but I had one other thought. What if the Naruto in 258 was a clone. Can Itachi's eye would on a kage bushin? Again, Naruto has used clones to attack and confuse eye jutsu opponents (the fight with Neji).

Who thinks Itachi can beat Oro, thats laughable. I don't think that he (oro) meant that Itachi could beathim, i think he just meant he is too strong for him (Oro) to take his body. Plus i don't think Itachi was too keen on giving up his body like Kinamoru( wat ever his name was. I mean the bone guy.
