Hes hiding at the moment.

He will most proberly hunt Sasuke because well He almost killed him and the fact that he is after his body.

But at the moment i say hes just licking his wounds and getting back up to Sanin Level.

I think alot of people refer to him as Kabuchimaru.
And don't worry, we'll see him soon enough. With the Orochimaru in Sasuke now killed by Itachi, the only last Orochimaru is within Kabuto. He'll return soon enough. As for what he'll do, I don't have a clue. It better be good, though. ><;

I'd say he's more than hiding, know this about Orochimaru, HE"S NOT DONE=)
Note he's gotten crushed and killed by Itachi twice, and Sasuke once, he thinks about the possible threat of Naruto and I think he's watchin him too, but his end all be all is too defeat the sharingan, Sasukes in particular who's will soon surpass even Madara. He's what he is a snake in the high grass hidden, waiting for the right moment to strike, and when he does it will make an impact, trust me on that one.

Hopefully he becomes part of the main plot again and plays an intricate role. I wasn't satisfied with how things "ended" with Orochimaru and Kabuto.

my best bet, hes in hiding fighting over himself for the dominant personality (orochimaru/kabuto) so hes in no condition to attract attention to himself.

^Kishi is reserving him for later. Im sure Kishi has a plot planned for them or maybe in-case his publishers demands more Naruto series he has a back-up plan.

I'm sure that Kishi is saving him for later too. However, wouldn't it be cool if when this Pain attack is over, and Pain is dead...that Kabuchimaru comes back and Naruto finishes him off in one blow?

He is not orochimaru at all if you read the databooks you guys would see that, kabuto has only oro\'s cells in him that were left over nothing more. The real orochimaru that we knew is gone for good dead sealed away.

Its better to have a mix of separate bad guys, and its even more fun when the bad guys are against each other.

Knowing Oro he knows akatsukis plan and if any ones going to control the world it going to be him so, I wouldnt be suprised if he helped konnaha fend off pein. "the enemy of my enemy is my friend".

Maybe he'll come when Pain almost destroys Konoha...

i remember when first seeing him, i was like "who is this guy?"

well mannered and helpful shitty shinobi with glasses. But when he took out a platoon of ANBU, he definitely established himself on my list of very cool characters/villains.

Since he was a pretty important aspect of the first part of Naruto, and with being combined or being overwhelmed by Orochimaru, could definitely see him being an important aspect of part two or whatever how many parts their will actually be.

He's probably doing what any intelligent shinobi would be doing right now and is training his body and mind. He could be slowly getting seduced by the parasite that is Orochimaru, and wishes to control it. I doubt it would be as much of an issue, say compared to learning to control a demon inside you, but to be honest, Orochimaru is somewhat of a monster, all to himself.

He could also be making new allies, or creating his own plans/organization since he is all alone, in a way. His time to shine maybe? we never really got to understand his motives, spying everywhere. And when he got back his memories after Orochimaru released Sasori's jutsu, why would he automatically join him? He must have some plans of his own...

I see it happening in either two ways... either he will 'appear' unexpectedly again in the last, or next to last 'uber' battle; or he won't appear which will indicate another arc beyond Shippuuden, not unlike Dragonball GT. The villan will be obvious, Oro/Kabuto vs. the new reign of Naruto.

Oro is going to return. First major villain introduced and sometimes I get the feeling he'll also be the last once he obtains all the power he was seeking. When you think about it, there was no other villain in many respects more power hungry and bloodthirsty. One reason why I appriciated him as one of the "coolest" villains ever. I'm always reminded of the scene where he scared the crap out of Naruto and friends so badly they were nearly frozen in place. No other villain has done that -- I'd like to see a similar "crap your pants" moment from his return.

But alas, I know I'm day dreaming, but it would be nice to see. Not saying that many of the other villains are not as cold hearted but they just dont bring that "evil" factor in quite the same way.

hope we see orochimaru again.. togetha with kabuto, they are the prefect villians.

edit: I loved it when Oro was introduced into the series.. he really was ultra yber super cool :D.. If he is going back to life, I wonder what he'll try to do about Sasuke.

note that the current hokage has stat's 35 and kakashi got 34.5. true he'll get tierd when he uses his sharingan but he makes up for it cause its a really powerful mks attack that he developed. :)

Okay, I have a comment on this whole Kabuchimaru is hiding thing. Like someone mentioned earlier comparing him to a snake hiding in grass, I like that. That was a nice point. However, I think that (thinking like a militarian myself...) Kabuchimaru is probably hiding planning out something very vicious. For example, what if he is gathering more rebels to carry out another war? Didn't he make a good uproar last time he did that? He could always think about hiring some experts or getting some good ninjas for another battle?

I think he'll be coming around soon and naruto is gonna kick his ass after he comes back from training. And I hope oro takes over his body completely and we see oro fight somebody again.
