In all of the Naruto series, has there been a kamikaze other than that dumbass Deidara?

Deidara, the newly appointed Kamikazekage! Unfortunately, like his predecessor, his reign was shortlived..

lolwut? Deidara was never a Kazekage. Now, kamikaze is arguable, but take that to the Naruto Manga section.
Now, assuming by "Deidara" you meant "Gaara", yes, there have. Four others. One was Gaara's father. Another was puppetized by Sasori.
But if by "Kazekage" you meant "Tsuchikage" (the leader of the Rock village, Deidara's former village), we haven't learned anything about them. Deidara definitely wasn't one.

He means self-righteous suicide I believe. Or just in general people that blow up for what they believe in. And a little spoiler below

He did not die

yea he meant people that would kill themselves for their country or, cause. I cant think of anyone besides deidara, that was like that..... i guess hidan was sorta like that but he didnt really die, but theres that idea of hurting yourself to hurt others.

Well, if that's what he meant, we need a mod to punt this shit to Naruto Manga. Don't you people ever stop posting spoilers outside of Naruto Manga?

In regards to giving one's life in order to defend one's beliefs/country:
That mindset describes every good shinobi, and most bad ones. It's considered honorable to die on a mission; more so if you die defending the village from direct attack. With the exception of defectors and probably a small percent, each and every shinobi loves his or her village and considers it worth more than his/her life.
So really, this thread shouldn't exist at all, because it's not exactly specific. It's like discussing shinobi who use kunai. Unless, of course, you meant shinobi who purposely and directly kill themselves for their village. In which case, they would do so if it would help the village; for example, when captured and being interrogated for vital information.
So now that that's answered, it doesn't really leave anything to discuss, which means this thread should be locked up anyway. That is, of course, assuming no one is boneheaded enough to try to assert that shinobi in general don't value their villages over their own lives. Then I'll prove them wrong, and then the thread can be locked.

I think he meant just anyone who blew themselves up in order to kill people for whatever reason. The answer is yes. It was the current Kazekage, Gaara's uncle that put explosive tags all over his body in an attemp to kill Gaara when Gaara was just a sweet hearted little boy. The former Kazage, Gaara's father ordered it and that was probably the turning point that sent Gaara down the path of The Dark Side.

thanks. I meant those who blew themselves up for whatever reason they believed in. And yes, kamikazes. Thanks for the spoiler. I should do some reasearch into it but I didn't know Deidara is still alive.
