Did no one else notice this in the newest manga. On the close up on her eyes she has pupils. Never have I ever seen her with any sort of ANYTHING in her eyes. Could this be a new power or some sort of drawing mistake?

From my understanding the pupil revels its self more and more based one the lvl of the byakugan activation. IE a normal state byakugan has lil to no pupil but when the byakugan is activated the outline of the pupil becomes visible so sense in this scene her byakugan has a fully blown pupil its only logical to assume she reached a new level of byakugan activation shame it wasn't enough to beat the rinnegan.

Well not to take anything away from the hinata's big show but tbh i kinda expected more from the byakugan its one of the big three eye bloodlines so u would think it would hold up better against the rinnegan. Unlike kakashi and his hand me down sharingan hinata is a full blooded hyuuga born with the byakugan and should be able to use the byakugan to its fullest potential.

Rank < Skill Level. I dont underestimate hinata i think before all said and done hinata will be far more powerful than neji. Even if she is just chunnin She will show the ninja world that you can be kind sweet and smokin hot and still be a bad ass ninja. Thing is hinata is one of those rare girls that is hella hot without putting any effort into it heh i cant wait for her to heal up so her and naruto can finally hook up. Maybe my theory can finally be proven about the the sharingan being the result of a hyuuga woman and the kyuubi host having a child.

My thoughts are Kishi is probably changing up the style for her. Sometimes artists enhance their own styles through out a series. I personally think its a better look. Without pupils just made her look vacant, which she was when she was younger.

I know artist change there style over time but i dont think he would make such a huge change because the hyuuga eyes have very distinct traits it would like him drawing the 3 tome sharingan with 3 dots instead of tomes.

I dont think age has much to do with it because hinata's father's byakugan even when activated all u see is the outline of his pupil not a full blown pupil like hinata had.

the hyuga always had visibile pupil with the byakugan on, but we didnt get to see (at the extent we grt to see now), because this is the 1st time (if i remember well) when we see such a closeup on the face of a hyuga.

i dont think hinata has more, over an avrege byakugan, than incresed sight range, but then again this is my opinion, so i might be wrong

But I think the Byakugan still has to be unlocked, since Kishi said it would overpower those of the Sharingan, idk who will be the one who'll do it, but there's more behind the byakugan as we know until now...perhaps Neji will show some skills when he arrives...

As for Hinata even if there will be no more progress in her abilities and stuff I think she has left behind her old self and has proven a point to all critisism of those haters, so in a way she surpassed her old self (lol) and the way people looked at her.

Whatever I still think she did more until now in the, more or less short, fight against Pain than using her new "Twindragon" technique, perhaps she did hit him or something, I don't think that was all...

yeah she improved a lot from her former self, and it would be overkill for all hinata haters if kishimoto would use in the manga some of the anime jutsu

hehe hinata fan here to :) but i realy dont think that she did something to him. kakashi wast able to pierce the gravitation pulse with his lighting hound, so hinata didnt stand a chance. but the fact that she knew that and still tried is ...
