yeah your right Kyuubi is stronger but i dont think he showed all his power because just like the curse seal using Kyuubi's power negatively affects its user (naruto of course)...

Kyuubi you already know is the 9 tails, the tanuki I believe is what everyone is calling Gaara's demon because we don't have a freakin clue what it is. Chinese and Japanese culture have stories about raccoon dogs I believe.
