Ok, in the story arc about the bridge, Kakashi's seal sequence for the Chidori is 3 seals long, Ox, Rabbit, Monkey. But during the Chuunin exams, the seal sequence for Sasuke to use Chidori is about 3 times as long and much more complexx, can anyone explain this phenomenon?

Yeah, I've noticed it too. It's the same with ie byakugan, but I can't remember why.
It's possible that it has something to do with skill, like perhaps those three seals sum up the others... Or the long one gives you more time to balance your chakra.. Or something.
It's also pretty funny how they sometimes don't even need to do the seals at all.

well you dont need seals to do jutsus you just need to say the incantation thingy........actually there are a lot of skills that dont need any incantation or seals
for example rasengan
well heres my opinion bouts the chidori while kakashi uses it he mutters the other seals instead of using his hands...and wen sasuke use it he did all the hand seals but wen his hand was inside gaara's sheild it took him a couple of seconds to do another chidori so he must have used the incantation

yeah incantations jutsus dont need those only genjutsu's do
Help me out here.In some eps Sasuke dosent do any sequence or any incantations and yet still has Chakra(chidori) coming from his hand??

well he can murmur it.........or maybe.....
ya know its kinda easy just spurting chakra out of your hand................so maybe he made sum varifications on it.
Maybe he used his feet and toes??

lmao nah he probably murmurs it but most of the time he does yell CHIDORI

Maybe the masters can shorten it. But, when Sasuke and Naruto were about to fight, all Sasuke did was put his hand down and Chidori started. I guess the atrists didn't feel like drawing all of the seals.
what lazy bums I kind of like the hearing the cantation. Or maybe they can use the Jedi mind tricks???
it's sometimes obvious if you observe some things in the earlier episodes, which are done later, they are altered... also you will see some plot holes which get pretty annoying.

Plot holes? In a Chidori sequence? I think you're looking too far into this...

Yahz, maybe he just need to gather chakra to do the chidori instead of doing handseals .... but i dont think its a plot hole
