hm, i bet you could get a cheap ME on ebay or amazon. it is an older game and it shouldn't be that costly. but ME2 could be more expansive.

but the game:
now, i think, and i am a fan of RPGs by Bioware, that ME is really awesome. i could never play it on the best graphics, bur i saw it on my friends xbox, and even it being an older game. the graphics are still good.
the plot though is the strong suit of the game. you can dive right into it and you want to know what will happen next. that's why i thirsted for ME2. and there will be a third part wrapping the story up.
i say, i played many RPGs and ME is one of my favorites.

BUT!
i have only played AC and GTA3, vice city and san andreas, not AC2 and GTA4. so i would not advise you to sell these games when you like them. you could safe some money and wait until you have enough money.

Canon and Nikon are fairly even, so far as quality goes. They keep out-performing each other with each new release, so it's really down to which camera feels better for you, personally; as well as the available lenses (assuming you're going for a dSLR).

Do you have an idea of what you'd like to shoot?

I'll say my high would be $500. Video, probably not. It never really occurred to me to use video...And I was planning on starting with landscapes and buildings.

Canon PowerShot G11 (or G12, or Gwhatever they have when you've got the money).

The G11 is around $450 right now and has more features than you will know what to do with. It's actually got most of the features of a larger camera, so it'll be great for learning how everything works (ISO, aperture, shutter speed, etc.), and get a feel for your favourite subject. It's also got a decently wide lens, which is good for landscapes and buildings.



Anyway, I'm going to bed. If you have any more questions I'll answer them the next time I'm on, which will probably be in around 7-8 hours.

I just quickly adjusted the Contrast, Shadows/Highlights, Levels and Sharpness, a much better job could be done with a little more time. It's a fairly noisy photo, so some good noise reduction software would be handy.

It would be a polarized filter you'd be getting, not a lens, and it really wouldn't do too much for general photography. It makes greens greener, blues bluer and cuts down on reflections, but it's not uniform across the image and they don't always give you the results you wanted.

It would be a polarized filter you'd be getting, not a lens, and it really wouldn't do too much for general photography. It makes greens greener, blues bluer and cuts down on reflections, but it's not uniform across the image and they don't always give you the results you wanted.

greasy food is the best basic for an evening full of alcohol. if you are planning on getting drunk, eat fries and any greasy shit you can think of.

also: don't mix too early. stay with beer until the party is cooking. if you mix up too early, you won't remember much. so save the liquor for the 2nd part of the evening.

and if you have to barf, let it out, you are always feeling better afterwards. believe me, i speak from experience.

Don't know much about cameras but this one looks like it can capture people's souls..not just there images. besides,it's features looks tempting so i'd roll with it.I need no picture, I own that camera. It's over three years old, get the D3000 instead. Or the D5000 if you want video capabilities.

I think I took that picture in the ISO 3200 setting without looking >.> big mistake.You may b able to find the XSi on sale for under $600, which would give you some handy features over the XS, as well as 20% more resolution without sacrificing high ISO performance. Better yet, the 40D has been replaced so you might be able to find a store clearing it out at a low price, though that is a huge if.

That seems really clear for ISO 3200, looking at the original instead of my edit, 200 may actually be it. Regardless, I hate accidentally taking a photo at ISO 800+. I'm unimpressed by my camera's high ISO performance, and desperately want a D700. Unfortunately, I can't really rationalize $2,500 on a camera at this time.

Yeah, well it was early in the morning, so I just had to turn in. Ate a shit load of food for breakfast though, four hours later. I really didn't sleep well yesterday. I had that possessed, half-dead look on while some motivation (don't know why) kept me on my feet through the day.

if i only drink beer an entire evening, i don't get ridiculously drunk. i have a nice level of alcohol. but if i insert liquor, like my favorite gin tonic, in the mix, i get more drunk and faster as that is. so concerning the consumption of alcohol, i listen to my experience, which is sadly a huge amount, and not science.

That's probably because the highest alcohol content in beer is 10%, and that's only in maybe 3-4 different kinds of beer [the rest sit around 7% and down]. Wherein everything else is around 30%-50%.
