Now that Gaara is dead (Or at least, Deidera and Sasoru telling us he is dead, plus the scene when he is talking to himself, and the whole "lose of chakra and falling to the floor), Kankurou can take a step into being a strong puppet master with the addition of Gaara.

I think it's possible, but unlikely. The only one so far to be able to make human puppets is Sasori, and I believe that was from live humans while they still had their chakra. I think that once they die, they no longer have their chakra, but I'm unsure =P

Actually, i take it from 268, that Sasori made his mummy and daddy into puppets. How else would he know about their moves and be surprised at the upgrades granny put on them? I just think that Chiyoba took his parents after Sasori left the Sunagakure.

Seeing Gaara as a puppet is weird. I don't think that'll happen, because even though Gaara is strong, he had the Shukaku taken out of him, and without it, he wouldn't be able to control sand otherwise. We don't know how strong he would really be without the shukaku. If Kankurou made his little brother into a puppet, I don't think it would actually make him stronger.

Actually I don't think it is possible because if Gaara is "dead" then that is a difference between Kankurou and Sasori, Sasori made the people puppets while they were still alive. Plus who is going to teach him the jutsu because I believe it deffinitely is a forbidden technique in that village.

1st off Gaara isn't dead, and I could tell that. There's no way that they'd let him die, completely without a chance of survival.

Maybe he didnt even turn his parents into puppets. From what I saw, I got the impression that his parents died before he could remember and then he created puppets in their image. Either way though, he's still quite the genius.

I don't really think that gaara is "dead" dead. I think theta he is just in a deep sleep or something, so the Kankuro puppet thing probably won't go down.

I agree with kenokuvato. I don't think that Gaara should die, and I don't think that he's dead. He's now a main character, and there's no reason for him to be dead. Even with the Shukaku sucked out of him, he's not supossed to die because he's one of the main characters.
If Gaara died, that would partially mess up the story, at least that's what I think.
