What are you guys opinnions on episode 114? I actually like chouji is a tough competiter in my perspective!!

This episode was great, it showed what Chouji was made out of.

Yeah, it was an amazing episode and it was one of the most emotional too. I felt so sorry for Chouji, I used to think he was as useless as the girls in Naruto this episode really changed my mind.

My mind was really changed to I thought Chouji was a useless piece of u know what but he turnt out to be a great fighter really I mean it.

dude... im so pissed off at teh episode cuz he friggin died! but he did change my mind A LOT! i like the guy now. thats definitely one of the top saddest episodes, man... i dont know what to say, it was crazy. i love the guy now (in a non-homosexual way).

It was a sad episode, but I still think that the Haku episode was the a little bit sadder.

nope... chouji died. they tell you too that the red pill will kill him. and you can tell again by the butterfiles, its knid of metaphorical. in greak mythology thanatos (the greek god of death) always has a butterfly hanging around. so if you know that then you can kind of tell that he was going to die. haha just my nerdy input

Hey hey, lets take it easy and hope that it holds true that the kid good guy ninjas don't die. He also promised to Shikamuro that he would catch up, so lets have faith that one day he will hold true to that promise, eventhough he didn't do the good guy poise when he said it. Anyways it was a great episode, and it was cool how he sprouted wings of chakra for a minute. Actually butterflies don't always hold that meaning, I can think of one game in particular that butterflies flutter around, that doesn't mean death. I am referring to Fable, just trying to be optimistic, you know. I wonder what made Chouji so much smaller after taking the red pill, I guess it causes your whole body to speed up, including your metabolism.

One more thing, was anyone else disappointed in the quality of 114 from DB, I am very happy for what they are doing, just wondering what happened. It might be just my computer, but the timing seemed to be off, and I got a lot of pieces of scenes lingering between transitions.

The manga is way ahead of the anime. The manga has alread finished the current arc, the one where the genins are going after Sasuke. And each anime ep is like 1.5 or 2 manga chapters, episode 50 is the fight between Gaara and Lee. Manga chapter 50 is the when Orochimaru gives Sasuke the curse seal in the forest of death.

Anime fans,should read the mangga more often(that's my opinion),that way they wouldn't be left behind,they would also know if the writer's of the anime would still be faithful with the manga...

sometimes its better because its makes it more unpredictable. But it can be annoying to those manga readers out there

episode 114 was kinda cool because chouji was kicking butt and all and also kinda sad because he found out that he had a lot of friends that he never had before. you go chouji

i thought that it was excellent it really showed how choji wasn't just another ninja in the village that he does work hard and many ppl underestimates chouji because they see him eating and being lazy most of the time. but this episode proved our first impressions of chouji to be wrong

he got skinnier in like 5 min or something which was kool but manga can be evil sometimes if you read like 50 eps before it happens

Well Chouji doesn't really differ to me wether he is thin or fat. After all, he had to eat the special pills to be that strong, it's not his natural strength, but still he's cool can't say no to that, but I just don't like the guy, the red marks on his face kinda annoy me, he's not the kind of guy I like. All in all this was one hell of a good episode when I just thought Naruto got kinda boring, it made me like Naruto like the time of the Sennins fight.

chouji is one of those guys u kinda feel bad for but then forget after that brief moment of spotlight leaves him. i dunno...he's a good guy, but since when do good guys ever win? :P
