What has happened to Chouji? Did he really die? Some people say that he did and some say that he didnt, I really want to know... and why did his appearance change too? He suddenly became thinner...

No he didnt die. He got skinny cuz his family jutus's convert calories to chakra, or because the pills did something to him. I cant remember exactly.

the green one increase his over all streangth by feeding on his chakra.

the curry pill takes all his strength and converts it into a perfectly balanced strength and chakra.

the third pill the pepper pill by far the most dangerous.

what it does is it takes all the fat in the body and converts it into chakra, the reason its dangerous for chouji is he doesn't have nearly enough body mass to counter act the pill. thats why he went skinny. the pill is ment for the adults of the akamichi and was never intended for someone chouji's size to take it.

think about it takin all the fat in ones body and converting it all to energy and strength 100X greater then your base strength. well your body is gonna suffer some major dmg

Tough question to answer, do you mean how many episodes until they finish this arc, or what number is the magna for this episode? Chouji got fat again because the pill wore off once the 5th healed him, so the effects stopped turning his fat into energy. Also Kiba got hurt pretty badly as well as his dog, Kiba was at risk of bleeding to death.

Seems pretty close, something's are rearranged a little as to when they get brought up in the anime, but for the most part it follows it to a T. I know in the Manga they show Sasuke's interaction with his brother again in the story, unless they are going to show it again in the anime that is one thing that was moved around.

The anime follows the mangga faithfully but with several additional episodes and scenes(101-107) with no deleted scenes,only additions(I've been following both the manga and the anime that's why I can tell)personally I still prefer the anime.And the mangga episode number for Chouji's fate(as well as the others is on chapter 235).

Another person that died was Obito, possibly Rin, the first instructor for the one on one Chuunin exam (the one that was always couching). Tsande's younger brother as well as her boyfriend or lover, whatever you want to call him.

Chouji just fainted due to the side effects of the red chili pill.... If the anime would stay loyal to the manga, chouji would be cured by Tsunade and he won't die!!!!!!

In the manga (SPOILERS) chouji didn't die and was cured by tsunade, but in the anime we still don't now what will happen.

as mentioned by my fellow manga readers, choji doesnt die, he gets saved and later healed by tsunade. To be a bit more specific, she deciphers everything in the pill and makes a medicine that will counter it.

choji then becomes big again, cause well thats what choji is a fat ninja. like the mysterious white ninja from Beverly hills ninja.

also he did get thin in the manga as well.

preaty much that episode and the manga chapters were like very very very similar, only thing different was what is read on the tree.
