i think his died maybe when he was 7 when he was a chuunin. thats my guess since looking at the pic in the manga.

He commited suicide? I really cant remember. I thought i was something about not abandoning a comrade and thus failing a mission and he got discrased and was executed or something. Oh well makes no difference, he died (didnt he? muhahaha)

Yeah, he abandoned a mission to save the lives of his comrades. But he committed suicide after everyone in the village, including the guys he saved, ridculed him and what not for doing so.

yea there alike. well in apperance at least. remember when kakashi just walked into the room with chiyooba and she thought he was the white fang? its cuase they look very similar. and you know he was about 8 cause hes now 26 in the anime and 19 years before that hes 7-8ish

Yeah, Kakashi must have been around 7 or 8. Great father to go all boohoo and dishonored to the point of spilling your guts across the yard when you got a child who might need a parent, chuunin or not. I mean, that's like his honor and his dumb comrades were more important to him than his son. Great dad, uhu /sarcasm

It's not about physical survival or maturity. A parent taking their son's last family away simply sucks, no matter how strong or mature Kakashi was at the time. You don't drop your kid just to save your honor (or run away from facing embarrassment....).

thats true its sad that his dad died wen he saved his comrades lives and didn't become an ordinary shinobi that just do what he is order to do and that even more messed up that the comrades that he saved like turned on him and thats madd cold i would have killed them right on the spot if they started to hate me for saving their lives instead of them dead and contiune the mission

I dont like the explaination and idea of kakashi's dad suiciding coz he failed a very important mission and saved his team mates instead. Sure he was a very famous nin and his rep probably dropped so much since most famous guys dont fail often, but killing urself coz everyone is talking crap about you? I think he was killed or something else happened.

i dunno... i was thinking his dad died maybe when he was around 10 or 11 because he paired up wit obito and rin maybe for 2 or 3 years and obito has always seen kakashi as a prick wit rules. When we first see them kakashi is 13 since he just turned jounin so my guess is 10
