how long does it take for bittorent to work or download cuz im trying to download evangelion and nothings happening or at least i dont think anything is happening.

Shino 12-22-2005 12:05 AM

It usually takes longer to download things then direct d/l. So just leave it up over night, since your downloading Evangelion, it will take about 5 to 10 hours or so, unless your not d/ling the whole series.

But yea, just leave it running all night and it should be done by the time you wake up...depending on how long you sleep at night.

cool thanks. i dont think i will be able to leave it on. But what program does the episodes play in.

nelsonkong 12-22-2005 12:06 AM

Emmm...i think Shino has already explain it...just leave it on over the night.

Shino 12-22-2005 12:10 AM

Depends, if the episodes are AVI, then almost any player (wont play on real plaer, so dont try it), if its OGG, OGM, or MKV...try the DivX player, or what I use is The Core Media Player (it plays every file type).

Naruto1 12-22-2005 12:11 AM

cool. i have divix. where did you get the core media player

are you sure i leave it on cuz it hasnt even said one percent downloaded.

Shino 12-22-2005 12:14 AM

The Core Media Player

Matroska Pack - Thats the codecs for it, they allow you to play almost any file type.

Quick question: where did you get the series to download?

Also, if you're downloading the whole series, but want only a few episodes, then you should use a partial-download bittorrent program. I'd use Azereus. You can pick files to download from the entire set.

Well with BT patience IS a virtue

And also i use Klite Mega Codec Pack, a set of all the codecs you will ever need along with 2 great players. Also if you install this you can use any player you want to play and file type you want. Example: you can use Windows Media Player to play Real Media files or Quick Time files

Remember the MEGA Codec Pack

Yeah, the matroska is kinda good too, like having a home movie theatre on your computer.
