Here we can talk about the ANBU...

First off I have a question...what is with the amazingly sweet masks??
Second, what does ANBU mean or stand for??

1)Meh, who knows, they're ninjas.
2) ANBU stands for Ansatsu Senjutsu Tokushu Butai, which translates into Assassination Tactics Special Squad.

The mask represent animals and each ANBU member is a different animal, we've seen some kind of bird, a cat and a monkey.....thats all I've noticed, well, all I could make out. I think ANBU stands for Ansatsu Senjutsu Tokushu Buta and I think that means "block ops", but Im probaly wrong- I think I left something out on that one.

Huh....I think that Kakashi's mask look's kinda like a fox...his is my fav.

I heard ANBU will be called Black Ops in the dub. They probaly won't even mention the word ANBU, if they do say ANBU I already know they are going to butcher the prounciation, just like Na-roto.

No way!!!! The dub kleeps 1% of things from the japanese! I think they wiull edit this like hell lol): just my opionion:)

I guess you are probably right,,,

They dub everything and somethings they dub in the english version is so stupid. I mean hey don't you think the ppl watching Naruto are old enough to be able to know exactly what ANBU is? The only reason I think for dubbing the show is b/c of the little kids that might watch and they don't want to much violence shown which in my opinon I've seen more viloent stuff in other shows that youngsters watch. On another stubject, at least I know what ANBU really means now. And yeah I've heard of it being called the black ops cause that's what I've been calling them lately although i change it to black assassins.

That too me would be stupid too about the dubbing. I think ANBU should stay the same
