Hebrew please?
Hey,
could anyone please help me learn Hebrew? It's my native/father language, but all I know are a few sad words such as kel, lo, shalom, sherotim, klavim, toda,... Not like my family don't speak English, but I'm considering moving to my native country :) Belgium's cold and Israel has dolphins. And falafel. Writing isn't even so important, but I can't even speak or understand it.... |
my friend cerberus III might teach you hebrew.. but im not sure if he's been on lately... And yea i like falafel too :)
|
wow, u know how long its been since i've spoken it? 4 loooong years...
....hebrew school doesnt teach ya anything......i can try to help u if u need it, but i cant guarantee anything |
Thanks :) Just a few phrases so I understand the basic grammar would already help!
My brother once taught me "I'm gonna kick yer fucking ass, motherfucker" but I forgot the same evening.... we even tried at a few "guinea pigs" so I'd get the right intonnation and all :D We were lucky none of them were Arabs or Russians or we'd been done for  But I know one phrase since I was 7: Ani roza glida, I want ice cream. Did I spell that right? |
^ its more like "ani rohtze gleeda" ? (there's a tzadek in there, need to pronounce it like 'tz')
and the most useful phrase, also the first one i learned - ani rohtze lalechet lasherutym - i need/want to go to the bathroom :p (and since u wanted grammar knowledge, its noun, conjugated verb, infinitive verb, noun (i think the indirect object) |
Thanks!! I actually understood the toilet phrase before reading the translation beause of the "ani rohtsze" and "lasherutym" :D I'm good at languages, this should work. Keep'em coming :)
Btw, as for grammar, so would it literally to "I want go toilet" if the "I" is the noun here? |
yeah pretty much, a lot of it is implyed in the verb structure
i need to refresh my brain w/this |
Re: Hebrew please?
Hey, Ore-Sama. It's me, Cerberus III. I don't know much Hebrew. I know some blessings and a few words, but I can't promise that I can perfectly nor completely teach you Hebrew. I guess I can help you learn the basic greetings and things of the sort.
Like I said, I will try my very best to get you started. ;) |
