They powered up once Natsu Gajeel beat them piss easy. I'm thinking Jellal will give Natsu another Golden Flame and maybe Gajeel a powerful metal to even the playing field.

Natsu and what's his name got a huge power up in the beginning of the fight though. FT sent nakama energy towards them, and as we all know FT can convert that into power.

Sting and Rogue are fighting at their max, they're a top guild, they got hyped up and now they get fucked up in 1 chapter by 2 guys who trained for 3 months.

Obviously they're still going to do something but just in order for Natsu to hit him in the face and say "FAIRY TAIL!!!"

This is just a set up for Natsu and Gajeel to power up their Dragon Force too via nakama powarz.

Whatever I thought it was a thrilling chapter. I wouldn't be surprised if Natsu and Gajeel can activate Dragon Force on there own or activate each other. Natsu doesn't actually need Dragon Force, he still has Lightning Fire Dragon and possibly Dragon God forms.

I'm surprised to find some emotional motivation for Sting and probably Rogue too involving their Exceed. I wonder what those Exceed told them.

I don't get how this ST Guild Master can be so dumb, obviously this is a different Fairy Tail than what he's seen the last seven years. Of course maybe he has some kind of grudge against them and always thought they were trash.

They probably never fought another dragon slayer hence the difficulty they are having. 3 months of intense training/second origin must have been equal to how the body increases its power in 7 years. Gajeel and Natsu will somehow activate dragon force mode and show who boss is

Is it just me or was Rogue shit on big time in this chapter. "Gajeel!!!" iron punch in the face. Hahahaha. Good Chapter though. I hope Gajeel loses and Natsu wins!

The fight wasn't bad except that Natsu and Gajeel just didn't do anything. Put some effort into their counters and I'm OK with it. Be nice to stretch it out and have left this one at level 2. The back and forth needs to happen. It's like a reverse Dragonball fight where Natsu and Gajeel are the bad guys who just can brush aside the powerups. Weird.

Level three better be good and I don't mind if it unlocks something in the good guys, just that the set up could have been better.

As for the whole Sabertooth is an elite guild, c'mon - the got that in Fairy Tail's absense. Fairy Tail returned and got those magic power ups etc. They were a top guild, they still are. Why do we assume upstart Dragonslayers should be tougher than someone like Jellal who took all of Natsu's strength and then a huge brief power up?

Unless it was part of the Second Origin process (and whatever Gajeel did in his training), unlikely. There's a reason that Jellal was surprised that Sting and Rogue could enter Dragon Force on their own, Natsu (as the only First Gen. Dragon slayer to go into Dragon Force) had to force himself into Dragon Force by first consuming Etherion, then consuming Jellal's Flame of Rebuke. No other Dragon Slayer had shown the ability to enter Dragon Force without some outside help.
