Madara's "plan" to use Nagato which was Fail anyway
 

So after we've seen Madara in a state where he cannot move from a certain place, what did he want from Nagato from the Rinne Tensei? And how come even Obito voiced it before with Zetsu after Nagato revived Konoha?

What we know about Gedo Rinne Tensei is like:

1. It can be used to revive someone within a limited period of time.
2. It just revives a person. It doesn't hax with any power up like making the person younger or free from injuries.

Considering the second point above, how dumb was Madara to actually assume that he could be free to move if he was revived by Nagato's jutsu when he died? Seriously if he died in that state he would be back in that state when he was revived.

Well, if the plot is to believed as of right now. Madara would be revived, still attached to the tree branches of plot convenience and the moon eyes plan would be enacted shortly thereafter. Meaning Madara would most likely live forever in the ninja matrix of happiness. So, it does make sense in that regard.

I think the most likely answer is that madara has another body to be revived in because madara being revived in his old as dirt body is just not something someone like madara would plan IMO....

Probably a hashirama body so he could use the RG eye's nagato made with his EMS's... Because an uchiha body just doesn't have the power to properly use the RG obviously which is why tobito is not using his.... it takes too much power... However, if he would switch his kamui eye with his RG then he will likely be able to use it because he has an hashirama body on that side of him madara sewed on due to the damage from the boulders...
But, that would not of allowed the author to depict tobi as obito with a kamui eye on the other side while trying hype his true identity...

There are several instances where Tobito has used the Rinnegan. As a matter of fact, that is the reason why Naruto made the shadow clones in the first place when this particular fight started before Naruto knew all the bijuus' names. And then Madara stated just after he was revived via edo tensai that he awakened the rinnegan.

No.2 is not exactly true. During both of Pain's fights, we saw both Jiraya and Naruto annihilate several bodies beyond recognition, to only see them return "brand spanking new".

Tobito has used the shared vision of the RG, but that is just a basic ability of RG... and he used it's transmigration ability to give his chakra to six jinks so they could share vision and be controlled... Not one could use a RG ability at all...

The only RG ability Tobito even mentioned was that with the RG, even if he kills naruto with too big a bijuudama... that he could revive him later... meaning he was implying he could use the 7th paths power... gedo rinne tensai... However, that was it... no deva realm abilities... not even hungry ghost realm which would come in handy to absorb the rasenagn that smashed his mask to pieces... but not one...

He must not have the power to use it properly IMO... Otherwise, why not use it's power other then the most basic abilities...

When the reincarnation jutsu is used i believe you are revived in excellent health and full chakra. But also nagato said his power was only a fraction of rhe original sage. That being said Madara might have know something else about the ressurection jutsu.

Also Madara PROBABLY wanted Nagato to bring him back right after he died, BUT Obito rather Nagato bring himself(Obito) back.

Question if Obito is brouht back after death by either Edo or RG will he have Both of his eyes? Alao with hahi DNA shouldnt he had grown his eye back in that left socket?

Well Nagato used his power on an entire village and just restored their life.

I would imagine if he used this power on just one person it could rejuvenate them to their prime.
