Such thing as Luck?
 

One of the things on my mind today that I thought I should ask everyone is, do any of you believe in Luck? or do you think that everything that happens in our world is on purpose. Like some sort of timeline that hasn't been finished and we are just following a path already set out for us to follow? I would like to hear everyones thoughts on this.

I believe in setting your own guideline...living a life of fate and destiny is too predetermained and it's futile to even live an existance like that...yeah, I believe in luck.

well, some things are hard to explain. for instance, if you find a twenty lying on the floor, you think it's luck. (btw, not meaning you literally) but if some big, fortunate thing happens, (such as meeting someone who has turned your world around for the better), you think it's fate. depending on what event transpired, it can be interpreted either way. me, i believe in both. and that's all i gots to say on that.

hmm. thats cool, I really have no set idea on it yet. So im just kinda listening to everyone elses opinion to form my own opinion on this matter.

yeah thats cool. but I think that was just following the storyline right lol. but other than that I am starting to lean towards the opinion that we can change things (decide) between two different fates but, it feels like either one we follow it is still following some kind of path already set in front of us. atleast that how I feel. you guys might feel differently. (lol this is kinda reminding me of final destination, with the whole fate thing.)

Fate and destiny as too small of concepts to contain and bound one, such as I.

btw why is this thread in the "conspiracy theories" is luck and destiny consipering against us to plot our destruction?????


but yeah i think everything has a little bit of luck.. as kakashi said, "a part of a ninja battle involves luck"

This can't be in the debate section. This should be in chit chat. You can't back up and claims about luck. It's pure opinion.

i would've always said yes, but i think stuff just happens. one day something good happens and sometimes everything just goes wrong.

Of course there is such thing as luck...I was blessed with all the luck in the world and some slight precognician of events...At a horse race I bet on the gray horse(which,by the way, you should never do cause they never win) and all the ones with red jockies and won every race 'cause I felt I should bet on them(true story)...creepy,huh...
