So Dressrosa is really Spanish. That means Trevor is really Trébol. Well, down the drain goes my hopes for more Portuguese references. And, my Cthulu, is Oda making such a weird combo of themes: Spain+Alice in Wonderland+Gambling.

As for that guy in the end, I don't think he's Fujitora, he sounds more like the fellow samurai Kitsune was after.

If that is Kinemon's friend it would solidify the hype Wano samurai got from Brook. If this guy can pull something like this so casually, imagine what a beast the Shogun of wano will be.

This guy is based off of one of the actors who played Zatoichi the blind swordsmen. Oda based all of the Admirals on actors so far, under those parameters this guy could be Fujitora.

crazy off the wall chapter....pace was crazy. Oddly enough his power is ridiculous. At first I thought the attack came from his eye. Though he pulls out his blade and then the hole appears....interesting character so far....Dressarona is just weird...No I would expect Kin to recognize his friend immediately. He could be who Akainu sent. If so it would remind me of Bon Clay....he was sent to get the Sh's but ended up befriending them. Punished for his actions by Croc and so on....Odd chapter can't wait for clearer trans.

C'mon, son, I live in the same peninsula, I know my Spanish. That said, it's not only Barcelona Oda is paralleling, it's also Southern Spain: gazpacho and flamenco are Andalusian, while paella and squid ink dishes are Valencian. I really wouldn't be surprised if Oda threw the Alhambra in there too.

Great chapter. Women stabbing men lol. Lufy nosy as usual. Living dolls could be an ability of the sheriff/overseer or someone highly ranked of dressrosa to keep the place in check. They making contact with some could pose a problem later.

I was getting annoyed with Franky's hair but somehow he was able to pull it off with the suit and beard combo.

But the Kid must be a somebody to stand toe to toe with Luffy, I'd think most would get damaged. Though they weren't serious and going all out, some kind of feat IMHO, Pops even held him back.
