One piece 722

Enjoy.

Finally. Info on the WG/VC and confirmation that Dfla is a CD. I wonder why he ended up in the streets.

I also can't wait to see the knight of spades fight.

Re: One piece 722

So 20 royal families came together to build/set up a foundation that became the WG. The members of those families went to stay and live at Mariejois. The new King of Dressorosa was the Riku family. The DD family came into Dressorosa to overthrow the Riku family and taint their bloodline in the process. The DD family also are part of the Celestial Dragons. So yeah as Dag said Dofla's cockiness is due to his family's power. Why did he desert his family???? I understand he wanted to create a place where he could rule and also become the black market guru that he is.. Tricking the citizens he was able to filter out the loyal members of the former Riku court and place them under watch by turning them into toys and imprisoning them. In the ten years Dofla has become a great king in the public eye but also their appointed savior. Crazy! So what does this bit of info have to do with the drawes history?? What happened to the Dwarves royal family? 100 year gap...something big must of went down.

Funniest moments....
Ussop-" I am going to listen and wait for the right moment to run away! lol
Cavendish's surprise that the crowd loves him so after three years!
Brook- "I've already cut you!" (Simply walks away!)

I love how Brook took advantage of Jola's hyper eccentric personality and fooled her into treating him as a fellow artist.

This chapter also hyped up the Reverie that is to come. I wonder about the relations between Alabasta and the CDs since they were the only family that didn't migrate to MJ.

Considering Crocodile, a Shichibukai, got hold of Alabasta and the WG didn't intervene either way, I'd say the CD's disposition in relation to Alabasta is "they're on their own now".

Re: One piece 722

That is true. They didn't do anything while the rumors of an uprising were floating around.

Still, I hope it doesn't end at "We don't give a shit". If would be cool to see tension between the 19 and Cobra over all the crazy BS they are pulling.

Speaking of BS, do you guys remember the bridge Robin landed on after SA, and how construction has been going on for 700 years and it is being constructed by slaves ?

I wonder what that is for. The taskmaster said the WG was trying to connected several islands across the ocean. So many mysteries to solve.

Law is down. Didn't even put a dent on Dfla. Dude is real strong. I fear for Brook's crew. Not only the fighting fish (I think Jora was keeping them at bay with her art powers) but going from frying pan to fire. Going to meet Dfla n Tiger like that.

As almost all guessed, Dfla is real Tenryobito. More hate from Lufy. Lufy must hear this. I say it again, the powers on display here are just too much for the SHs. They gonna lose terrible in if no help comes. Dwarves and Toys ain't enough.

Re: One piece 722

That is why Oda is having Luffy gain allies in the island. When the shit hits the fan the SHs are going to need help. Don Chinjao is the biggest gun among the allies, and with some of his former strength restored I can see him being instrumental in the coming fight.

Re: One piece 722

Great chapter! Love how Oda can give a large amount of information in one chapter, but keep it moving along plot wise.

Looks to me like Law is being crushed/held down by Fujitora by his gravity. Wonder if it was more of a tag team effort against Law or if Fujitora did more of the damage. Plants are all cut up around them so obviously Dfla was swinging his strings around, but Law didn't look cut up, just beat up.

Great job by Brook, very comedic way to end a fight, and he might very well be the craftiest fighter out of the crew.

Last thought, three royal suit heads (spades, diamonds, clubs) vs strawhats. Who do you think will match up? Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji?

This was a great chapter, lots of information. I can't help be a bit upset the fight was off paneled, if this was any other manga it would have had me ragin, but the info it provided over shadowed it

Perhaps I didn't get my idea across properly, but what I was thinking is that the CD's stance with Alabama is indeed of tension, but a more passive one. It's like they hear "Alabasta is being invaded!" and they're like "fuck them, they didn't want to join us so why should we help them?". But if Alabasta somehow participates in a major event against the WG, you'll see the CD's taking their gloves off just for Alabasta.

Spades are the sword set, so definitely Zoro.

Now it depends on what Oda choses to reference: clubs are bludgeoning weapons like Luffy's punches, but, in Tarot, clubs represent fire like Sanji's special moves.

Re: One piece 722

The three strongest..Diamante which I said before looks lazy but probably is a bad ass beast in the arena. The blob guy who gets too close which is the clubs dude and spades..who seems to be the mystery face. I said already that SH's would take a whooping this arc if they didn't receive actual help...Law thought he had this game planned out but he didn't foresee Dofla's importance...and that was his biggest mistake. If shit goes wrong for Luffy who is above the hidden factory...Sh alliance group will need some serious saving. Law has to go meet his own crew so unless they somehow show up..the actual coliseum combatants/prisoners just may run a muck and join SH's. Though the biggest strain will be restoring Rebecca's honor and rightful claim to her throne. Once Rebecca actually successfully pulls off the coup de ta....she can unleash hell on Dofla supporters. SH's will soon confront the scary toy master of the DD family. Beat his ass and reverse the oppression that has taken place. Fujitora really needs to put aside his loyalty and alliance with the WG and help out Law who is actually doing good.

Edit:

i just realized technically Dofla is taking back what would of been his if his* family didn't abdicate their throne of Dressrosa. He is claiming what his family left behind. Even though the Riku kingdom was established as the new royal family....Dolfa turned the citizens against them in order to reclaim the deserted kingdom.

Re: One piece 722

i had a thought, based on no evidence whatsoever but , what if Law knew abt dofla and maybe law was a part of riku family as well and got to know something very important which is why he changed his allegiance from dofla. There has to be a reason why he would go against him, a powerful driving force

Re: One piece 722

Somebody better save Law, he's in trouble now, not like before. Additionally there is so much going on, hard to keep up with, but that's not a problem I hate, the moar the better as long as it can be sorted out with Oda's great about.

apacolypz 09-27-2013 02:24 AM

Re: One piece 722

So where is CC? Dofla has his heart back so he is close to getting back everything Law has taken from him. Kaido won't need to interfere if he can manage this. Though no matter what once the factory is taken down....serious shit will be hitting the fan. Law being pinned down now only spells serious trouble for the alliance group. With Smoker returning back to base who will help them? Zoro heading to help Nami and the Sunny Group but they are fine now and on their way to Green Bit to hopefully save Law...this could be where Oda repays Don's debt to Luffy and have his fleet help Nami and group out of hot water against the Navy. I would love to believe that we will actually see the final four compete in the arena but with things developing as they are..wonder if Oda will present the fatal 4 way only to have it interrupted by the rebels?

Wait... so why is the Marine guy not attacking Dofla anymore?
