Good finish...as expected, Gimora was great(spl) Tenzin finally found his way, Varrick escaped, more importantly Korra has grown into a true bridge between human and spirit world. Allowing the portals to remain open and the lives of both human and spirit to live in harmony. Her not being attached to the past avatars sucks but her spiritual growth was incredible.

I actually think the 3rd season will be about her closing up the portals again. There will be some evil human who screws things up. Although I think it will be tough to top the dark avatar... there was honestly so much potential there. Maybe we get treated to the Bolin-Korra romance now. Bolin apparently has a thing for water tribe girls.

Don't remember the validity of it, but there were statements of Zuko and/or Mai still being alive. Iroh (Zuko's uncle) was pure awesomeness. I liked the way they closed the season out with Korra, but did they have to regress her so much during the season.

Yeah she was pretty unlikeable in the first half of the season. The sub-par animation from Studio Pierrot didn't help things either.

I feel like they sacrificed the quality of most of the pre-Beginnings episodes to set up for the later half. Hoping they find the right balance for Books 3 & 4.

I love how Wan Shi Tong was absolutely ignored after all was said and done. They set him up to be the right hand man, uh, bird, thingy, but yet he never got an appearance beyond that.

We may see a spirit war in Book 3. He'll pick up where Unalaq left off and try to rally spirits against humans. I could see how what Bryke said about Book 3's contents could relate to that. When you screw with nature, nature gets screwy, and spirits aren't immune to that.

EDIT: I don't really care what we see in Book 3, so long as we know that Makorra is dead for sure. I want that shit to be OVER. Seriously, Mako and Korra Break up and Make up more than couples on Lifetime.
