I am watching it right now, they have kept the japanese theme song, but have edited most, if not all the text on it. I'll add more as I watch the episode.

Soundtrack is intact.

Ichigo's voice gets annoying.

Most of the text in the ep is still japanese

Yuzu has a REALLY annoying voice.

Mild cursing (what the hell are you doing here/fight me one on one you ugly bastard)

Rukia has a wicked awesome voice, is slightly girly girly with a strong girlish tone as well.

They use soul reaper not shinigami (as you all guessed)

They say "Kido" not demon way.

"I do not want to be sent to the under world" Not hell, the underworld.

They use Konso, not "soul barreal"

They use "whole" and "Hollow". Not "Plus" and "Whole"

All or most blood is still intact

They use "Zanpakuto"
Ending is intact, too bad the first one sucked bad.


Okay, ew, ew, ew,ew ,ew ew. EW. The preview of the next episode. (not sure if it was like this in the japanese) was baddly done, also, Kon's voice SUCKS.

i would haveto agree kons voice is frickin high pitched and annoying and then what happened to all the blood? i had to frickin stay up till 1130 to watch it and there is like mild cursing but no blood

since Canada sometimes has uncut anime, would this be different for usa and europe i wonder =/

zomg i wanna know who does kon's voice. If anything they should have got me to do it lol. i can do a spot on kon's voice in japanese and english xD

Watched it, the voices were pretty bad. They could improve. I'm glad they pronounce things properly though, I was horribly terrified it would all go wrong.
So I would give it 7/10. Get better voice actors!!

I thought they were ok >.>, they didn't have any stupid voices and what they said was pretty normal (very not normal--->US Naruto :mad: ).

Ichigo could improve a bit on his yelling voice though. :p

Personally, I think a calm "bankai" is so much more intimidating then a "BANFUCKINGKAI".

Watching it now. Sounds good to me! I don't see the problem with anything. Honestly, I think this is the best localization since Cowboy Bebop. "I love it and I don't care who knows it!". It sounds great, I have absolutely nothing to complain about. I must say, my expectations are exceeded tremendously after being pretty dissapoitned with the Naruto localization. Woot! Next: Waiting for the DVDs.

Kon definitely sounded worse than everyone else on the show, but other than that, I really don't think even that was all that bad. For the show itself it was bad but compared to some other things I have heard...that was nothing. And, in all honesty, with how dubs are today and the hilarity of localizations of a few great animes turned into crap, this is a blessing.
