Why is he so weak? I mean he's been training for such a long time with Jiraiya and I've seen no progress what so ever except that new rasengan...

Well, your right he is quit weak but i think the only reason he is living is because of the fox he would probably of died when he was fighting Haku.

u gota understand that jiraya was teaching him about akatsku and all that how to beat them and ofcourse naruto looks weak right now compared to the super charged saskue. wait till naruto does his next trainign which should be pretty soon and u will see a huge dif due to his new training technich

Naruto is not really weak, but yes for 2.5 years of training under one of the Sannin, you would expect a lot from Naruto, at least more than better Kage Bunshin usage & rasengan variation

His strong points:
stamina, determination and unpredictability.

His weak points:
technique, he's quite short-tempered and he often gets himself in trouble by overdoing things.

What makes him not ready (yet) to fight an experienced villain.

Well, the reason why Naruto might appear to be weak is because his training was solely based around his Kage Bunshin abilities and Kyuubi control. He never had the chance to focus on any other area of a shinobi, but I'm sure that he will in time.

back to topic: well he have improved in some aras like how to break seals like genjutsu and to prepare for the akat. and he improved his shadow clone tricks thats really it

He isn't weak but after training with one of the sanin and having the nine-tailed foxes's strength he doesn't know many powerful jutsus except for his main ones (not including shadow clone)which are rasengan and sometimes but not alot, the summoning jutsu (because of Gamabunto)his is pretty weak based on his jutsus.

Wow, think about what you say before calling someone a moron, when you make a moronic post in and of itself. This is the anime forum. You know, where people who WATCH THE ANIME post? And who exactly are you to tell people who think Naruto is weak to not post it? It's their opinions, which they're free to share with us all. If YOU don't like it, then leave.

Anyway, in the ANIME, Naruto does look a bit weak. It doesn't really show much improvement from Jiraiya's training, other than better bunshin usage, as shown from his sparring fight against Kakashi. Though, he still seems to run on instinct and run straight to danger, as shown against Deidara.
