The anime comes out this upcoming Sunday in Japan. Probably won't get translated until Sunday night or sometime on Monday. I'm caught up with the manga thus far for this series and I love it. It only has 153 chapters, hopefully the anime doesn't catch up too quick.

Such a great first ep. Hopefully it sticks the manga story line because I'm caught up with it and its amazing.

First episode was done pretty badass...my only thing was the use of the title wizard instead of mage in the subtitles for the characters...
Still this series looks to be as promising as the manga is

Hey have u read Rave? which one's better? Fairy Tale or Rave? they both written by the same autor. If its better maybe im gonna read it too.

Also playafosho99, Its probably depends on the fansub that you use. It might be different for someone else.

I personally like Fairy Tail, Rave was eh... its ok.

Oh about one piece and fairy tale, nah, its written by different dude, so prob this lucy and nami similarities jst a coincidence.

^essentially its about its a world of mages where to be recognized as mage you have to be part of a guild. Fairy Tail is one of the most popular guilds in its region and its know to have a rowdy mages within the guild but at the same time some are known to have some of the most powerful mages like Natzu, Erza, Lucy, and Gray.

Natsu Dragneel is a mage that specializes in the ancient magic called Dragon Slayer which was passed down to him by a dragon called Igneel. For some reason he Igneel left and Natsu is trying to look for him. He is also a very popular mage that goes by "Salamander". Natsu is very sensitive about Fairy Tail and always protects the name when someone speaks bad about his guild. Natsu and Gray both respect and fear Erza who is constant separating them in their fights. Natsu wants to show everyone in Fairy Tail that he is the best and is constantly asking Erza to duel with him to show his strength. He usually loses but always wants a rematch. Natsu suffers from motion sickness from all modes of transportation, including trains, carriages, and people carrying him on their back.

Erza Scarlet is one of the elite mages within Fairy Tail. She is very strong and specializes in wielding magic weapons and amors but what sets her apart from the rest is her skillful use of Re-equip which is a type of magic that can instantly equip herself with a piece of armor or weapon. She is known far and wide as "Titania Erza". She duels with Natsu from time to time because she has always been stronger than him since they were young but is always impressed by his never quit attitude and admires him for always getting stronger.

Gray Fullbuster you could say is the opposite of Natsu, literally. He specially in ice manipulation. He was taught by Ur when he was very young and forced to live in snowy areas without any clothes. Its said to help get familar with the ice magic. Because of this he has picked up a very bad habit of removing his clothes in public at random. He is constantly fighting with Natsu but when when they need to be are powerful comrades and aid one another. They both respect and fear Erza who is constant separating them in their fights.

Lucy Heartfilia is the main female protagonist of the series. She practices Celestial Spirit magic which allows her to summon spirits from other worlds with Gatekeys. She has to make a contract with each of the spirits and abide by them otherwise she loses the use of the spirits. Natsu is the first person from Fairy Tail she meets and ends up joing them because of him. She admires Natsu for his bravery and always teams up with him on missions.

Happy the cat is a blue talking magic cat that was born from an egg. Natsu made the discovery of the egg when he was younger. Happy was born in front of the entire guild and with his happy personality which made everyone smile Natsu decided to name him Happy. He also uses a type of magic called "Aera" which allows happy to grow wings for a short period of time and allows him to fly. He is the only thing that Natsu uses to transport himself without getting motion sickness.

That's Fairy Tail in a nutshell. You have to watch the anime or read the manga to get a feel of the types of adventure they have. Its worth the time to read, I highly recommend it.
