By the looks of the trailer, I have to agree with what Kluang said: it's not a movie to be rationalized, it's just entertainment. Avatar was the same and it's one of the highest grossing films of recent cinema, so what if it doesn't have a coherent plot, it's girls and samurai and robots and gatling guns, have some fun!

By the way, don't google image "robot tits" with people in the room and safe search turned off.

Yes, but at the time I forgot about Kristanna Loken as the T-X.

Don't do it even Google "robot tits" without people in the room, especially if you're actually looking for robot tits. There are almost none.

I'm pretty sure, at least in my eyes, that Sucker Punch > Avatar. But that may be because it was the slowest moving movie ever and I have to pee really bad when I went to see it. Also, I love action films.

Seriously, 7 of 9, main reason for loving voyager
edit: speaking of the Borg; my church started saying the lords prayer during every Sunday service, everyone stands up and says it in unison, and the more they do it, the more i feel like i am one with the collective

Got to agree, but on different terms. Sucker Punch, although it seems kind of messy, at least seems to have fun with itself. Avatar is just Dances with Wolves/Pocahontas/The Last Samurai/Ferngully/etc where they switch (insert oppressed people here) with feline smurfs.

I liked that series as a whole. For me, it's Original>Movies>Next Gen> Voyager> Deep Space Nine.

@Num: Exactly. I don't really feel like having the same plot shoved down my throat from the 60s and 70s over and over and over again. Besides, I just want some 'splosions.

yeah, DS9 was a soap opera on a space station.

Next gen and voyager are right up there for me, although the original movies were awesome.

i've only watched like 2 episodes of the original series

Kirk sleeps with everyone. Red shirts always die.

This is my favourite thing I have read all week.

DS9 is categorically the best Star Trek. It has the best written episodes, generally. Voyager has it's moments, but most of it is pretty dire. God-tier Star Trek is still TNG, with bearded Riker.

Number One! I have to make a number two... Make it so.

Re: Narutard chat thread

Riker was a pretty sexy man
and that chick in the purple, what's her face. she was awesome
the actor who played Jordie, i'm pretty sure he was the host for "the reading rainbow"
