Kanji of the Day thread (v.2)

Aaaaaaaand we're back!

but we're adding a new feature!

everybody else can either request what kind of kanji they would like to learn.

or.

post some kanji they found over the internet and their meanings and what not. BUT, you people's can't post some weird kanji and ask what it is. for I'm not your dictionary.

I will be adding a ton of kanji here in a bit once I find what I'm looking for!

Till then!

Kanji is basically the writing system for the chinese, japanese, korean, and taiwanese. It was originally chinese, but the japanese used it for a part of their writing language. Though the pronounciations may be different, it is still actually chinese. But kanji is not used as every letter and word like chinese is. Kanji in japanese can be used with both hiragana and katakana.
