I guess its silly to argue over this, since the interpretation varies from person to person. (I've seen people refer to NaruHina, SasuSaku, and NaruSaku as crack before.. lolz)

yeah... that just makes it non-canon. there's a difference between non-canon (fanon?) and crack. Crack has something that makes it unreasonable, for example, KibaHina: Hinata loves Naruto. She loves Naruto and thus can not love Kiba since she's not that kind of person. Non-canon has nothing going for it except for compatibility, but has nothing against it: basically, it has no development but neither is there any development for any parings with the same characters, for example, KakaAnko or IruShizu.
