@Greendayfan: Regardless for whatever motive, don't you think the homosexuals will be happy regardless? Any US Citizen can get married in California now and they don't have to be a resisdent of Cali. So they can tie the knot on go back to their house wherever it may be. Also, now the married gay couples will get benefits because they are married; something they couldn't do if they were in a civil union or not even that. If it's for the money, then it's a win-win situation. And it's about time they were allowed to get married. I think it's pretty stupid to tell homosexuals that they can't marry because you're gay. How 5th gradish!
