I don't really think it's needed, honestly. The thanking system is nice and all, but I can foresee two things happening if it was put into effect:

1) No one would use it, thus making the "update" completely unnecessary.
2) It would be abused, just like the rep system. People would "thank" people for posts which don't deserve it because the post is by their friends, or some other shit.

I'm a pessimist, obviously.

But if people want it, then go ahead. I honestly would just rather have the admins reset the rep system and ban the creation of a rep game. :/
