You're probably right. I remember that Yashamaru said something along the line that he was going to avenge his sister's death or something when he was talking to Gaara, but I didn't know if he actually said the name.
I kinda agree with you on the Kankuro banner, it didn't turn out as well compared to the other two.
Meh, I think it's just an ironic twist that causes it. The fact that you like the character so much might mean you find flaws in works with them in it compared to other characters. I do the same thing when I draw. I notice errors that I should fix when I start looking at it.
