The Halo franchise is worth a lot of money, and will go down as one of, if not the greatest, console FPS in the history of gaming. There's too much money in the Halo franchise to give up on it. That's like Nintendo quitting the Mario franchise, which has been milked a lot more than Halo ever will be.
