In a way you are right, but looking back, ALL elections were that way, the only problem is ever since the fall of the soviet union and the end of the cold war not many good leaders have popped up to guide this country and stray away from sissyness.

I myself am a Reaganist republican,(pretty much a bit more government control that the libertarian views) but I found all of the reagan republican candidites big wusses, saying anything to get elected, And like you I was a Ron Paul supporter, only guy who said something OTHER than what his speechwriter could find in Hills dumpster.
