The "Arcade" X360 is pretty much a 360 without the hard drive. That means you can't really play online or save, 'cause the Arcade comes with the tiny 312 MB memory card that works just fine for playing and saving Arcade games.
I believe that 312MB is the extent of the Wii's memory a well. The 360 was already dollar-for-dollar superior to the Wii, it all just comes down to what you want honestly.
If you want a system you'll play often, you should go for the "Pro" X360. It has the hard drive, one month of free XBL, and is relatively cheap at three hundred bucks.
If you want a system with a largely unappealing and casual library that you'll play sparingly alone but is pretty fun with a party of friends, you should go for the Wii.
The 360's library of games is leaps and bounds superior to the Wii's.
