It's not about such superficial responses. It's about the principle of naming your child after an international hate figure, a noun that embodies such strong imagery and association that everyone knows what the man stood for. Godwin's law, for a lulzy example. If you start letting people being able to casually name their children after Hitler, especially when they're in a country where the name isn't usual, then you really start to trivialise a vital part of the 20th century.
