It will probably go that way, as most of guys think here Sasuke vs Naruto is the point of this manga.

This is pretty much what is happening at the moment.
But I would like to offer an another view on the plot of Naruto.
Naruto and Sasuke are different, as are many other characters in the story. Some of them are good, and some are not so good. Those that are good all share a common view on life, it is a "good guy" perspective: That friends are important, and ultimately that all life is important. Those that are not good, don't value life of others, but abstract things and their own ego.
Naruto and Sasuke are different in personality, they are traveling different paths, but they might both end up in the same place independently, the good guy's perspective place.
That means Sasuke becomes a good guy regardless of Naruto, I would like that to happen as Sasuke demonstrated those qualities in shipuuden by choosing not to kill those weaker than himself, and by showing that he cares about his friends during the Killerbee fight.
