story moved from the grade school thread

yesterday my boss instructed me to make posters or something to cover our cork boards on the inside doors of the bathroom stalls in the girls bathroom.

i told her i'd use wallpaper as a back ground, and paint colours from our brand new paint line, and a catchy slogan like "new colours, new ideas, new private get aways in your home" and "make your inside place your beautiful place." she loved it

When she was leaving i was just finishing making these things when she came buy and asked to see. i held up one and she freaked out, saying, "what are you doing? those colours don't go together!"

She tore a minty green paint chip off of one and pasted it to a minty green wall paper
same with a beige one and a blue one

she wanted the colours to be the exact same as the wall paper, not contrast and compliment them.
so after she takes away a cashier to show her where she wants them, i move everything back where it was, and wait till she's gone to put them up
especially the one that i stained the wood for. she thought that it might hurt someone, so i nailed it to the board.

Long story short, after she came back and apologized for hurting my feelings (what?) and said i liked it (long pause of hesitation) funky and she liked it organized.
organized=bland

The president of Home Depot Canada is hosting a massive meeting at our store today, there's no way she wont see my posters, and my boss has today off, so she can't change them!
i hope the president compliments them, that'd make my boss so mad

and that's my little bit of revenge
