I've thought about different systems of government on a few occasions, and the best I can come up with is an oligarchy comprised of several people from different regions, who select their own successor from their own region, who would in turn have to be confirmed by the other members. No one would "run" for government, as those who are reluctant to take power are those least likely to abuse their power.
They would have to govern "from the shadows" to avoid being manipulated or the like. Of course, there's no guarantee that all the members wouldn't get themselves set up for kickbacks.

Obviously, the difficult part is people's dislike of any kind of government secrecy, and starting such a system in an established democracy.

Edit: I think the member of OH should start up our own PMC, conquer part of Australia/Asia and start our own country. Or use our vast sums of PMC money to conquer the moon.
