A proper katana, made of well-folded steel, is actually a pretty damn good anti-zombie weapon. Unless you're a complete badass, you'll look like a complete nerd wielding one however.

Best anti-zombie weapon is a bolt-action hunting rifle, if you're holed up somewhere relatively safe with a good amount of ammunition. Easy to maintain, remarkably accurate, relatively lightweight, and fairly common ammunition. Good for prolonged survival.
