Death is taken so lightly in bleach it isn't funny... Old man is a pile of ashes, but watch someone on the sidelines say "well, as long as there's something left of him, he still has a chance." (Some 2nd seat sweeps his remains into an urn, so he can be saved.)

And Aizen fused with the stone? There better be some drawback from doing that... Cause if there isn't, then yeah, that would be annoying. I still say the last 10, or so chapters didn't accomplish anything. What was the point of the Captains buying all this time to give an opening for Ichigo when in fact, Aizen can't be harmed physically?
