Re: Is carbon capture and sequestration feasible?

I have my own carbon capture and sequestration system: I call it "Trees".

The earth has huge potential to deal with us and our pesky emissions, but we insist on repaying that with deforestation and ecosystem destruction, hindering this ability. Industry looks to find complex answers to simple solutions: stop rampant deforestation, produce less pollution and increase our ability to live with nature around us. Of course, economically, it makes more sense to have people looking for ways to keep things the same. Because as long as we're searching for answers and methods, the current model can keep churning out the billions. Pumping CO2 underground won't put a dent in emissions when Asia and Africa are primed to explode emission rates to intolerable levels.
