Reviving this thread cuz..I think it's a good one.

@JEWbii, I wasn't saying his opinions were "absolute" or perfect. I was talking about his explanation to reactions.

Even though it wasn't death, I think Rock Lee in the Chunin exams when Gaara crushed him and he continued to fight. That was pretty sad, and Gai's reaction was too.
