The flaw in trolling by acting like a complete moron is that there are people who are seriously as stupid as you're acting. So you can't really fault people for thinking you really are that much of an idiot, since you really could be that much of an idiot for all anyone knows. It's not like anyone is dumb for actually believing you really could be that stupid.

If people are stupid, and thus deserving of being trolled in the first place, then you can piss them off without making a huge fool of yourself pretty easily. Unless you're an idiot, in which case that course of action is pretty difficult. So acting like a dumbass is all they can do. It's actually pretty weak shit.

Good trolling, in my humble opinion, is shit like what was used against Führer Furfag by the heroic "Surf's Up Crew," as you narutards call them. They made him rage and do stupid shit, ruined his shit, then justifiably kicked him the fuck out of his own forum for being a douche. That's awesome and lulzy.
