The amusing part of this whole story is that, probably due to the media hype and overreporting going on about it, it has gotten back to Afghanistan where the fanatics there have whipped up a storm of anti-American and anti-Christian protests (again, probably misrepresenting that it is American and not just 100 or so idiots). It is amazing how volatile people become - particularly over what essentially breaks down into the loss of a few books that are not a rarity in the world.

That said, some one should have told this moron that burning books never ends well.
