^ I gotta warn you though. There are a lot of different gundam series. I mean A LOT. Something like 20+ shows set in 6 or 7 different universes. That's not even counting all the movies and shit.

They've been making that shit for a long time now. The original Gundam came out in 1979. It was aptly name Mobile Suit Gundam 0079. The graphics and storyline are very dated, but on the plus side it had Amruo and Bright fucking Noa.

I'm just sayin', if you do decide to check it out, there's a lot of back-story to grasp, and you can't just pick up a series and expect to completely understand what's happening unless you start at the beginning.
