I made this Gundam universe timeline which depicts almost all the Gundam series in their respective timelines. The Universal Century that's in yellow is the first and original Gundam timeline where we get to see Bright Noa, Amuro Ray, Char, and the rest of the gang. That should help you understand the expansiveness of Gundam so so that you won't get lost story wise. Gundam is fucking epic shit!
