yup the sheer probibilty
as N the sample size increases you get closer to the average
so in this case think of the average = 1 human race (or golden circle) in the solar system
N= to the number of solar systems in the universe, lets just call it infinite
(I'm not gonna write the math I can't actually count how many solar systems there are in existence)
it just makes perfect sense that a planet JUST LIKE OUR is out there with life
technology and what have you is simply and issue of how long it has been around compared to us
also it is a rule of Biology nature does not pick whats perfect, it picks what works
so then we have to account for the fact that even on earth their are bacterial life forms that live on arsenic not oxygen so why not an entire planet?
